Hi-Tech Systems in Spring Hill, FL is acquired. The Company establishes a branch office in Spring Hill serving Pasco, Hernando, and Marion counties.

The Company expands its commercial solutions offering including managed services, hosted access control, hosted camera surveillance systems, and IP-based systems for commercial.
Alert Alarm Systems Plus in Sarasota, FL is acquired.
Omnitech Communication & Protection in Bradenton, FL is acquired.

Mr. Allbright purchases the Company from Agnes and Peter Allbright and becomes the President. Third generation of family ownership and stewardship begins.
The Company is included in the Business Observer’s Top 500 Gulf Coast companies list.
Mr. Toth featured as Integrator of the Month by Security Sales & Integration trade journal.
Michael Juaire elected to Board of Directors of the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Allbright honored as a member of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 from the Business Observer.
Lifeguard Security Systems is acquired.

Justin P. Allbright joins the Company as Executive Vice President.
Home Solutions division is launched providing advanced home automation and expanding home theater and audio product line.

Bellemare Total Systems Integration, LLC was acquired. The Company welcomes four new employees from Bellemare to the team and opens Bradenton branch office.

Recession construction meltdown affects Southwest Florida, but SAC still experiences growth.

Received the Small Business of the Year award from the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce.
Construction boom with a three-year growth of 40% of revenue.
Mrs. Allbright becomes President.

Celebrates 25-year anniversary.
Hurricane Charley hits Charlotte County. SAC received the Community Service award from the Red Cross for service during an emergency crisis.

SAC has 32 employees.

2002
Constructed new facility at 17776 Toledo Blade Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL which is the Company’s current headquarters. The 4200 square foot building houses the UL Listed central station in a hardened call center with redundant backup power and communication systems.
CBCA Subcontractor of the Year award.

Average growth of 13% per year over past 10 years.

Mr. Nagy sells and transitions the Company to Agnes and Peter Allbright. Mr. Nagy retires. Second generation of family ownership begins.

Mr. DeGaris retires.

SAC added two-way secured backup radio monitoring to its services (SAFECOM).
Mr. Toth is now the General Manager. Peter Allbright becomes President. Mr. DeGaris becomes Sales Manager.

PCAS upgrades to a fully automated computer-based phone system (Telescan).
Mr. Toth receives a Florida low voltage alarm license.

1992
Central station became automated with software (Micro Key Solutions) to process emergency signals with customer records. SAC’s central station is UL certified as an automated call center.

SAC purchased its first computer and uses CYMA software for billing and customer records.

1989
Erick Toth is hired; Mr. Toth served as VP of Business Development and is Mrs. Allbright’s cousin.
The Company has 10 employees.

1988
Builds an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified central station (facility only/non-automation) to house the alarm monitoring systems and call center employees. The central station was staffed with one employee 24/7 with no computers or automation.
The Company purchases its first reprogrammable alarm system with an EPROM setup, until this time, the alarm panel had to be replaced every time a system adjustment was made.
SAC obtains its first Florida low voltage alarm contractor license.

Ross DeGaris is hired as General Manager of operations.

1985
Mr. Nagy was a founding member of the Charlotte Builders and Contractors Association (“CBCA”), today known as the Charlotte Desoto Building Industry Association (“CDBIA”).

1982
The Company was very innovative with installation procedures and techniques for residential and commercial wiring which other companies adopted.
Communications with customers and employees were difficult; the Company relied on two-way CB radios on a frequency which was shared with a local taxi cab company. The phone systems in Charlotte County were still evolving and developing.
SAC has seven employees.

1981
Port Charlotte Answering Service (“PCAS”) started – this is now SAC’s virtual call center division. PCAS had a fabricated switchboard where a phone call would come in and then the operator would punch in a code to direct calls.

1980
Mr. Nagy received his Certificate of Competency. House located at 3314 Harbor Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL is purchased and converted to office space with warehouse.
SAC has four employees.

Security Alarm Corporation founded in Port Charlotte by Kalman Nagy.
First employee is Agnes Allbright, Kalman’s daughter.
